Baton Rouge, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced its academic awards for the 2019 cross country season on Thursday afternoon, and LSU freshman Davis Bove became the first male cross country runner to earn individual academic recognition from the USTFCCCA in program history. Both the women's and men's squads were recognized as a whole for their achievement in the classroom in the fall as well.
